TUF 10 The Heavyweights Episode 7

The Coaches and fighters turn on each other and want blood. The most suspensful, action packed and raged episode yet. That fight was awesome!

The episode opens with the coaches going at it from the get go…talking about how they looked when they got knocked out in their last fights.

After the fight announcements….Rashad tells Rampage that he’s gonna make him quit just like he quit on his fighters. Rashad emphasizes the point by voicing his opinion….”You shouldn’t have accepted the job if you were just going to quit on your fighters and not be there for them like a coach should be”.

Rampage says…in an episode interview that he came really close to knockin’ his teeth down his throat.

Some drama unfolds between the fighters…”Meathead” showed Scott Junk a note saying that Mike was scared to fight him, so that’s why they are fighting now. Mike was furious and was saying that he wasn’t scared to fight anyone in the house.

Mitch “Meathead” Mitrione says he wishes he could stop the voices and demons in his head and the only way to do that is when he is fighting. He laughs and says…”I’m not crazy, fighting just puts me at peace”.

Mitch drinks Jon Madsen’s orange juice and it upsets Jon and they start having words. Jon says I want to slap him as Mitch walked away . Mitch didn’t hear him. A teammate went and told him, and it lit a fire in Meathead’s crazy head.

During practice they were paired up together right away and were told to go 60% for the first two minutes and Mitch starts going a 100% at Jon and the sparring esculates into a small brawl. Rashad tells assistant coaches to take Mitch outside.

Rashad tries to talk to him, but it’s not helping. Mitch even flexed at Rashad…Rashad said in an episode interview, “Please do…I will whip his ass
“!

He calls Mitch out about a shoulder injury he just had last week because he was trying to fight a teammate before he has even had his first fight…All over the comment about getting slapped in the face.
Wes Simms puts a gee on and is trying to act like a ninja sneeking up on Mitch….they labeled Mitch “The Rat” and started counting days down till he snaps. What day will the rat snap?

Rashad said….”this boy’s cheese has fell off his cracker”…after hearing Mitch say he talked to his wife in his head and made peace witht the voices.

Team Rashad getting motivation from their coach as he give some advice….”If your eyes are not on the prize, you have already lost!

Lets get it on!!

Round 1

Damn….they came out brawlin! Mitch was giving it to Junk and I mean straight taking the stand up to him. Rashad kept yelling keep it basic. Junk had no answers at all. At the end of the round they both were so exhausted they could barely raise their arms to throw a jab.

Dana White comments….that’s a F’N Fight right there!

Round 2

Nothing but a exhausted jab fest….Junk had a take down…other than that the decision went to Mitch.

Rampage Jackson lost it! Angered and outraged he stormed off after the fight, shattered a bottle against the wall and totally demolished a door to peices.

One more prelim fight…will Team Rashad go 8-0?

In tonights episode Rampage was giving David Schoonover a lot lip and jacking around with him. He kept calling him “titties” and Schoonover end up talking some smack back.

“I’ll drop down to 205 and whip your ass” Schoonover voices to Rampage. Quinton Rampage Jackson really didn’t like the tone I guess and stepped up the trash talking, like he usually does.

Rashad steps between them and says a few words to cool the situation. Team Rampage gets and picture painted with funny character images of Team Rashad. They had David Schoonover in a bra, but Rashad took it down before the team came to train.

Rampage didn’t stop there. Before the fight, he wrote “titties” under Schoonover’s name on his door.

All that just fueled the fire for Schoonover, because he went in there and put a hurting on Zak Jenson by rocking him on his feet and then putting him in a triangle and choking him out.

As a good sportsman would do….Schoonover walked over and gave Zak Jenson a hug and didn’t say one word to Rampage. Classy fighter….keep it up Schoon!

Team Rashad is now 6-0….will they go undefeated?

Well well well….he’s back in the news! When is this kid going to learn! After being taken to the hospital for a possible overdose…..he went into one of his deranged temper tantrums and was out of control.

He pushed one female nurse, punched a male nurse and kicked another. It has been reported that he was shouting…..”Do you know who I am? I will kill you and rape your family!”

He was booked at Henderson Detention Center in Las Vegas and was released yesterday Oct 7th, 2009. I believed that he was going to turn into a really decent fighter in the UFC, but now that has all changed.

Why? Why would he want to go ruin something good that had happened in his life…..Getting kicked out of the UFC will probably send him in a downward spiral. Dana White has giving him so many chances to redeem himself, but I don’t think there is anyway to come back from this one.

He will have to prove me wrong I guess.

What’s up everyone!

If you tuned in for the “The biggest fight of The Ultimate Fighter history” on Wed. then you were probably a little disappointed like I was.

It wasn’t much of a fight. Kimbo Slice landed some good over hand rights and maybe an elbo, but “BIG COUNTRY” really didn’t do anything, but lay on Kimbo. The punches Roy Nelson was landing didn’t look like they were doing any damage AT ALL, but his belly was doing a great job of holding Kimbo down.

Roy “Big Country Nelson really didn’t impress me at all…..and his little shenanigans at the end of the fight, when he went up to Dana White and said “I’ll take a whopper with cheese no pickles”. I’m pretty sure Dana White really don’t care for his joker, slacker attitude.

Leading up to the fight in the house we got to see a different side of Kimbo Slice. He seems very down to earth and humble….the complete opposite of what everyone thought.

“I’m a family man, but I just love to fight!” a quote from Kimbo Slice on The Ultimate Fighter. He also responded to a question if all the hype and attention from the internet fight videos got to him. He said he really didn’t pay much attention to it. He responded…” a bird that is flying high, eventually has to come down and get some water.”

My perception of Kimbo Slice completely changed. I’m for him to make it in the UFC. Hopefully, well….according to the clips of the upcoming episodes….Kimbo might have another shot to get in the Octagon on the Ultimate Fighter.
